Beginner Soccer Classes in Miami for Ages 3–13

Build skills, confidence, coordination, and a love for soccer through our Pre-Academy program at Robert King High Park and West Miami Recreation Center.

No previous soccer experience is required. Every soccer journey begins somewhere. Pre-Academy is a training-focused program with no tryout or league commitment at this stage. Sessions emphasize technical development, coordination, confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.

Players train in age-appropriate groups under experienced coaches who understand early-stage development. When players demonstrate the appropriate readiness, they may be invited to progress into our Academy Competitive Teams. For more than a decade, our program has supported young players and families throughout Miami.

Our coaching staff is dedicated to helping beginners feel comfortable, become more confident, and enjoy soccer from their very first session.

Why Miami Parents Choose DSA

More Than a Decade Serving Miami Families

Our roots in the Miami soccer community extend back more than a decade. Throughout that time, our coaches have supported players who later progressed into competitive environments such as MLS NEXT, ECNL, and professional club academies.

These outcomes reflect our continued commitment to long-term player development and the families we serve throughout Miami.

Trusted by Local Families

Families value the experience, individual attention, and positive environment provided by our coaching staff. We invite you to read our parent reviews and learn more about their experiences with Development Soccer Academy.

A Clear Player Development Pathway

Pre-Academy is the beginning of a complete player development pathway.

Players who are ready can progress into our Academy Competitive Teams. From there, qualified players may advance into our Premier Teams, which compete in the EDP Florida Competitive League and selected tournaments.

This pathway allows children to continue learning and progressing within one club as their ability, confidence, and commitment develop.

A Positive Learning Environment

Our coaches teach with patience, positive reinforcement, and clear instruction. Players are encouraged to explore, make decisions, learn from mistakes, and improve at their own pace.

We believe children develop best when they feel supported, appropriately challenged, and excited to return to training.
